A Winner of Portrait of Britain by the  British Journal of Photography in 2023 & 2019. I have had several solo exhibitions including international shows with Diffusion at Ffotogallery Wales and Photo London and have been commissioned twice by Arts Council England.  My recent work for Queen Camilla and SafeLives was featured in The Guardian, The Telegraph, The Observer and BBC News.

I am compelled to capture the portraits of people who desire transformation, I have been there too. I seek narratives of resilience and healing and am drawn to those who build a new life.  A portrait should reach beyond the surface to be poignant, there is a tender beauty in this.  Photography is a poetic force to create stories, with an element of magic to reveal a person's inner landscape.  I like to explore the relationship between the subject and the photographer can be an uneasy balance of power so I ask people to collaborate in how they are represented.  I enjoy immersing myself in projects with digital or film cameras and believe art can provoke new thinking and drive change.

"It is a terrific body of work and I'm not surprised it has been gaining attention. These images have a lot of heart and empathy, they offer detail and a real sense of actual relationships. I feel like these images are, in some sense, an account of love and are timeless in that sense. They do not judge, in fact, they celebrate in a gentle and accommodating way." LensCulture.

"Highly rated, sincere, poignant and classical." Magnum Photo
