This is a story inspired by a childhood spent with horses, feeling deeply connected to their speed, agility, grace, and power. Fascinated by myths of shapeshifting Greek gods and the centaur, part human and part horse, I also discovered a Native American fable about a woman who became a horse.
While I loved that story, my Celtic heritage led me to write my own fable about my childhood. This ongoing photographic project brings that tale to life, exploring themes of transformation, connection, and the enduring bond between humans and horses.
