Why Commission or Exhibit Art Work? (2 minute read).
In 2024, her work was featured at the Science Gallery in London, focusing on dementia and end-of-life care. This collaboration with University College and King's College London, who conducted a six-year study, demonstrated how art can humanise scientific findings and make them more relatable. Portraits provide a face to statistics, fostering a deeper connection and understanding.
Allie's last artist residency was for the charity SafeLives where she created a portrait series that exhibited and had a footfall of 886,800 people and coverage from the national press and TV. Queen Camilla kindly opened the show.
