Let's Work Together
Working with a photographer is an opportunity to say something beautiful, impactful, and inspiring. We can work together to provoke new thinking and engage people in a different conversation.
I am a Portrait Photographer based in Manchester, UK. Through my work I try to capture narratives of survival and resilience with a focus on domestic violence, transformation, healing and human rights. I believe that it is important to showcase work that truly matters, work that shines a light on topics where we can make a measurable difference through visual storytelling.
More of my work can be found on my website or upon request.
Wishing you a wonderful rest of the week and please do not hesitate to contact me if you need anything else.
I highlight real life issues through visual storytelling and I believe that some of my projects, or the way that I tell stories, may interest you.
A Residency or Commission for Companies and Organisations
Working with a photographer as your artist in residence, is an opportunity to say something beautiful, impactful, and inspiring. We can work together to provoke new thinking and engage people in a different conversation. Through art we can allow different views to be heard in a way that allows people to explore transformations and embrace change. Art facilitates this by generating emotional energy and allowing us to see through different lenses.
Alternatively a portrait series commissioned by you is a show stopping way to create a marketing campaign for International Women's Day, Black History Month, Disability History Month, World Aids Day, Mental Health Awareness Month and Pride Events. Celebrating your diversity and inclusion projects, the resilience of your teams, your inspiring leaders and new talent in your organisation.
During the pandemic I have been creating a portrait series for for SafeLives, a national domestic abuse charity of which the Duchess of Cornwall is a patron. The UN has called domestic abuse the shadow pandemic. We have all experienced trauma during this period and I am not sure that people have processed this yet. The pandemic has impacted our mental health, resilience and will change some aspects of our life fundamentally. The focus of my work has turned to healing. It is a joyful quest. Who are our healers, what sustains them, how do we experiment with healing, what might that journey look like?
